It's nice to talk to somebody who has some brains (even if i dont think your right) just to let you know im gay and i have not had a traumatic sexual experience, it's not like being a smoker because you can practise safe sex with comdoms where as there is no safe way of smokeing. Gay sex can have more risk of aids vs straight sex *IF* you asume the both partys have one aids carryer and both not useing comdoms, however gay people are normaly more aware of aids and use comdoms more. (i know i do)

The more I think of it the more I think being gay is like being a smoker. Some people don't like you doing it around them and they both are bad for your health.

there's a catch; in that if you were a closeted gay, you could not call your spouse or discuss him/her around other soldiers, whether they were wearing a uniform or not. Doing so could cost you your living, your job.

The protections you have invoked would not be necessary if people weren't so scared all the time. You'd think in the military people would have enough balls to act like men and women, not little boys and girls. Military men talk about their wives, they can discuss their marriage.

I thought that before "Don't ask Don't tell" people where dishonorably discharged for being Gay and "Don't ask Don't tell" protected their right to privacy, protecting them from invasive investigations into their sex lives.

gay people are, at this very moment, serving in the military. That means that gays have been showering with straights in the military for some time now. If you weren't such a goddamn pussy, you'd have understood that simple concept by now. Gays aren't raping people in the ass 24/7 in the military, so all of this is fearmongering and santorum knows how to push it forward.
