How many programs run on startup for the G5? How much ram do they both have? What is the clock speed for both of them, comparing a 1.8ghz G5 to a 2.4ghz Intel Mac isn't fair. Whats the hard drive speed on the G5? Graphics cards? The lack of information makes this comparison UTTER SHIT, and should not be taken the least bit seriously.

That wouldn't be a 2.4 GHz Intel Mac. The white machines didn't go that high up. Besides, have you noticed how old the video is? Yeah, white iMacs stopped being produced in 2006, for reference.

This video is completely inaccurate. I syncronised my iMac G5 boot with the video, and, it finished at least 15 seconds sooner.

Faulty G5. Get a working one and do the test again.
