Just finished reading 'The Narrows' last night. Another outstanding piece of work from Michael Connelly - drawing in previous characters in Walling, The Poet, Buddy Lockridge etc. I was genuinely shocked to read of McCaleb's demise
Connelly is brilliant. I just read this book. He is as good as Elmore Leonard, Lawrence Sanders. I drove a cab in LA, it rained 19 out of 20 days but I never noticed the river, luckily I didn't get close enough I guess. The only day it didn't rain was Super Bowl Sunday between Redskins and Miami in Rose Bowl.
U know what, after i finnish college and film school Im gonna make a series on Harry Bosch or a few movies with Chris Noth(thats how i picture Bosch).
the books I'm thinking of adapting into movies are "The Closers" "Echo Park" and "The Overlock" so far. and the catch phrase for the movies will be: "Everybody Counts, Or Nobody Counts."
BTW im amking up a character slightly based on Harry Bosch for my book.
Im reading this book. I really like that Harry Bosch character. Even though he has a mustach and curly hair, i see him as Chris Noth. That's how i pictured him in Echo Park.
Is it crazy how imaginationfigure can become so real. I fell in love with him, thas has never ever happed before. And really I ´m not the only one. How is this possible
