So true... so true.

Last year's election was perhaps the WORST. Obama wasn't change. Sure, maybe on social issues, but even there he doesn't show much promise. He's also gonna pussyfoot and take a whopping 16 months to get our troops out of Iraq, a "monumental" improvement over Bush-McCain (lol), instead of bringing them home immediately like his supporters wanted. Stimulus up the wazoo. Allowing the Fed to do whatever the fuck it sees fit to "solve" the financial crisis, putting more and more bandaids.

Yet we haven't even had ONE. The "Republican Revolution" was nonsense. It replaced extreme gov't control over the economy and bad economics with bad social policies and fearmongering regarding the Soviet Union, as well as huge arms buildups we still haven't quite scaled down. The War on Drugs, what a farce. Nixon's WOD was nothing compared to Reagan-Bush's. If Goldwater elected, he'd be a true freedom-fighter. If anything, he became a libertarian in his old age and died one.

Yeah. The "freedom lovers" will go sending our boys to Vietnam or Iraq to prove their manhood and shit. Meanwhile, the REAL freedom fighters, liberty activists, get pushed to the wayside by "free society." The LP's "radical" ideas for smaller gov't and more freedom are constantly ignored because the idiot voters can't think outside the box or think that a 3rd-party or Indie is a "wasted vote." Not if EVERYONE votes for em, it's not! Ron Paul would've easily crushed Obama in 08.

But the dumbass GOP voters decided to go with John "whine about POW shit from 30 years ago all night long" McCain. So-called "maverick" who's a social conservative through and through. Sure, he 'challenges' the GOP leadership every once in a while, and he's against earmarks, but so what. Ron Paul speaks truth to power everyday, yet hardly anyone even heard of him before 2008. What a damn fucking shame.

Jefferson said we should have a revolution every 20 years. Should've had 10 already.

Libertarianism all the way, man. ;) We're the only ones who truly believe in freedom, the American way. The Left wants social freedom but gov't control of the economy, and the right wants social control and economic freedom. Neither of them can talk about the issues without fearmongering and hysteria. The Left fearmongers about "corporate power" and whatnot. The Right bitches about gays, abortionists, drugs, etc.

The funny thing nowadays is that Nichsolon is actually a Democrat.

This scene is as relevant today as ever.

The Right loves to preach about freedom all day long but they're hypocrites. Apparently it's kosher to spread freedom by invading countries, killing innocent people in the process, but god forbid a gay person should have the freedom to marry who they want to.

The Left is the same way. They push for gay rights and reproductive rights yet find it kosher to tell private citizens what car they should drive and how much money they should make.
