Well, there was Nixon, but when the Watergate Tapes were declassified, a lot of the notations of "(Expletive deleted)" turned out to be "Goddamn" and "Jesus Christ" rather than George Carlin's "Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television." I'm sure Carlin was very disappointed.
