They SHOULD look More "into it" as she said..........but sadly, they "DON'T!". Maybe now, after the "British Airways"777 made a very hard/crash landing they may look at it "In a Different Way"? I can't say for sure that "British Air" is one of those 40 airlines that contract out to "China" to do their maintenance..........but just ask your-self......WHERE DID THE PLANE LEAVE FROM????
To all my brother and sisters at United airline. I want you to know we the aircraft mechanics are behind you and respect your hard work at ending this outsourcing to overseas companys. The public needs to know what is really going on and if you love to gamble you are sure going to love getting on airlines that send their work overseas. This needs to end now but the greed knows no boundry
It's all about cutting costs and paying people less without having to provide benefits and associated costs that companies no longer want to incur. They care more about the almighty dollar and the largest profits instead maintaining the high level of pride and security that it's own American workers can provide. We, as airline workers, are the ones who actually have a stake in the aircraft and airline they work for. Outside repair shops DO NOT have the same mentality.
Now I'll be flying white knuckled roundtrip.
Yikes!
