Mike Auldridge at Beard Guitars

True - Lots of great dobro players for sure... but there's just something about Mike's playing that does it for me. I don't think a lot of the major players of today really had a vision for this instrument and what it was capable of before Mike came along.

I keep coming back to this video. Now that I'm told that *is* Paul Beard, I can see the pride of the master craftsman, watching the master musician, put his creations thru their paces. Wonderful to watch.

There are so many great dobro players these days, but to my ears, Mike is tops. Thanks for posting this. Also great for the all too brief "walk through" of the Beard facility.
