McCain showed poor judgment and he still has not learned his lessons. That is what I think people should take from the documentary.

True. That's all that needs to be said.  McCain isn't going to deliver us from another financial crisis he's just plain not smart enough to do it.

Did John McCain intervene improperly for Charles Keating?

And was John McCain putting "Country First" when he did this?

Of course not - he was putting Charles Keating first.

And our country got put behind, to the tune of three billion dollars.

And that was something worse than just "poor judgement" at work.

The reason McCain was reprimanded was because he was a Congressman at the time and this was a Senate investigation. They felt they did not have the authority to investigate a House member.
