Is the Red shell one solid color or does it have some differences at the Dell logo? Thanks.

It's not a solid colour at all, it's a semi-transparent shell.

It should be able to run Sims 3 OK, but remember it's not a gaming computer...

Get something more powerful. The studio hybrid sucks for games because its too small for a nice GPU.

Cubase = yes. As for games, it's impossible to say for sure - every game has different requirements. The one constant is that the Dell Studio Hybrid has a pretty crappy GPU, so don't expect much.
