Shave and a Sarscut - Two Bits!

hey!!! I LOVE this video! I did a google search for women with shaved heads and this is what popped up.

I too am shaving my head for charity. This week at my work, my boss is trying to get the employees to raise $1000 for the children's miracle network, and an additional $1000 from customers. Thats why I was "researching" I am a little nervous though....however, I think it will be a fun/enlightening experience.

So I guess just donating to a worthy cause wasn't worth it unless they got to see a woman shaved bald.

Actually this wasn't the first time Sars had requested people donate to Donor's Choose. This was just the first time that she'd asked people to donate so much.

OK but clearly part of the incentive to donate was to see her shave her head bald.

my point was that people may not have donated for the cause but because they wanted to see a woman shave her head bald.

And this year she's going to wear a Tomato costume for a day to her job at 30 Rock, and do a dance in the Plaza at Rockefeller Center. And it's the first day of donations, and she's well on the way to donning red.

Well, good for her. I think.

As one of her devoted readers of her site, I can speak for most of us and say that the charity she supports is an amazing one and that we would have donated with or without the buzzcut. It was just an added bonus, and a motivation for those who may not have given money.
