Sadly, even Olberman is spouting this global warming-by humans-killing polar bears propaganda. I think the founder of the weather channel's opinion carries more weight.

According to geologists, the Earth has had many warming and cooling periods. Humanity evolved during an ice age. In fact, many anthropologists believe that we evolved BECAUSE of the stresses induced by the ice age.
Eventual warming was inevitable. What we have now is a perfect storm of a natural process and the effects of human activity.
I am glad that these events are finally being played by mainstream media to the American people. Unfortunately, bad habits are hard for people to break, and it may now be too late. Each subsequent year following will bring warmer and warmer weather...exponential in nature will be the effects.
