Hi all! My general aim with this channel is to compile playlists of the things that most interest me. However, in order to keep my mind focused, there will never be more than 100 playlists, each with a maximum of 100 entries. Let me know if you think I'm missing something which deserves to be included.
Action fans might like some of the things in my jet fighter, planes, space and extreme sports playlists. Biology fans should have a look at some of the incredible computer animations in my human biology playlist. Those interested in the debate on the proper role for religion in society - from a perspective that is highly critical of its current role - should look into my religion V science list.
Although I think science and reason can coexist comfortably alongside the 'hope' of a higher power and some form of an afterlife (or new life), it is when this hope is passed off as 'faith' - and then adorned with all the trappings of organisation and dogma - that this potentially life affirming and enabling idea becomes a blight on society.

Australia
Hobbies:
INTERESTS - Biomedical Science with a focus on Health and Disease; Fitness; Politics and Social Science; Motorcycles; Extreme Sports (watching not doing... yet); Movies; Travel (one day when I can afford it, vicariously through YouTube at present).
Movies:
...AND TV. Current Affairs, Documentaries, Master Chef, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert (untill the evildoers at Comedy Central took full episodes away from us), Simpsons, MotoGP.
Music:
From inspirational Classical to House, Dance/Electronic, Motown, R&B/Soul/Funk, Rock, Old School Hip/Hop, Pop, some Alternative and Contemporary.
Books:
Not time for much more than academic texts right now, although I'm currently also reading 'The Politics of Suffering' by Peter Sutton. It addresses the disgraceful state of Aboriginal health and living conditions in remote Australia.
