I am a film maker from a north Edinburgh estae called Muirhouse. In 4 Life was my first drama, & was shortlisted for an MTV award for the Disarming britan campaign. Since IN 4 LIFE i have made 3 other films 1 drama & 2 factuals. I have a showreel that is available on requset for any industry work. i am currentley working on up-loading content for my drama's & documentries to be seen for free on-line. Due to copy right i will be using youtube for my Music videos, the making offs, & coprate work. "watch this space & remeber the name Wideo productions".
About Me:
I am looking to get my start in the industry wether it be a paid runners job or whatever position i can prove myself in. I am good with the PD170, Sony Z1, & the JVC HD 500.
5 years ago i was a crack head. The feeling i got from smoking a pipe is the same feeling i get when i write a script turn it in to a production and see it come to life.
I am just teaching myself lighting & auido production, I have a love hate relationship with final cut/editing

I am 30 years old father of 2 and lived a life most people could not comprehend i used to be the youngest person ever locked up in scotland. I stay in an inner city estate Muirhouse.
I now talk to social workers about youth and criminal justice from the kids POV.
I have taking part in the national drugs death forum to try & counter act the number of overdoses & come up with suggestions to try and gauge the opinion of Scotland's 20,000 addicts to the scottish executive.

I dearley want work & learn my trade on production's.
I am just about to release my new hard hitting drama Tolerance the college says
"the hardest hitting student production they done"
All this is to be put on the Wideo productions show reel (inner city dreams) the show reel is available on request.
If any body from a production comany is reading this all i need is that one chance to prove myself i can write now after my 4 production i can Direct. I am getting Media coverage "tipped for big things"
Who else can basicley shut a full inner city estae down to make a film. Plus i still have not spent any money on any of my productions. people are comparing me to Shane meadows but i would like to feel i am a cross between Noel Clark KIDAULTHOOD & Ken Loach SWEET 16.
I am a product of my environment & write about my own experiences. I start shooting my next production late june any producers or directors wanting material i am more than willing to write scripts and as payment be invloved in the creative production process.

You're doing great stuff from what I've heard, keep up the good work.
I've recently moved into Muirhouse and run drama workshops 3 nights a week in Leith.
I've sent out an email to some of the girls who attend my workshops and as soon as I hear from one or many of them showing an interest in taking part in the shoot on Wed, thurs and fri I will let you know.
