This is the first in a number of video's including the SouthWest Trains TOC after you people voted for it as the second train company for me to film after in my TOC voting video.

This series is split into two parts: Part 1: The South-Western Mainline Part 2: Suburban Berkshire and Clapham Junction

This video includes Basingstoke and Eastleigh stations which are situated on the South-Western Mainline. Both are busy junctions with a large variety of traffic including freight. Rolling stock in this video includes the mainstay of SouthWest Trains' fleet, Desiro classes 444 and 450's. Also included are class 158's and 159's. In the next video, Part 2, there will be footage from Clapham Junction in the daytime and at night with all of SouthWest Trains' regular classes of EMU featuring along with a 159, film from Winnersh Triangle in the heart of Berkshire in the day and night with a few 458's and footage of 450's and 458's at Staines on the junction with the lines from Reading and Windsor.

This video includes two Stations in the heart of Berkshire, the first is Staines, a busy station on the junction with the lines to Windsor & Eaton and to Reading. The second station is a much smaller station called Winnersh Triangle situated close to Reading on the Reading to Waterloo line served by Alstom built class 458s. At Staines we see Desiro class 450s and Alstom class 458s and at Winnersh Triangle the arrival of two class 458s, one at night, the other in the day. In the next video of Part 2, there will be footage from Clapham Junction in the daytime and at night with all of SouthWest Trains' regular classes of EMU featuring along with a 159. I apologize for not including it in this video, but there was too much footage to fit all in one video so Clapham Junction has its own video to itself!!

This Video includes all of SouthWest Trains' EMU fleet including Seimens Desiro classes 444 and 450, Alstom Juniper class 458 and BR class 455 excluding the slam-door units. Also included are DMU class 159 which form the services to Exeter St. Davids and long distance non-electrified routes. Clapham Juntion is Britain's busiest station and is situated on the merger of many lines from Brighton, Staines, Reading, Eastleigh and Weymouth to name some into termini including London Victoria and Waterloo. In this video, footage from the daytime and nighttime is used, the latter includes some fast ECS moves through the station. In the next video there will be a small amount of bonus footage including a Southern Class 377 arrival at Clapham at nighttime and also First Great Western DMU class 165/166 fast workings through Winnersh Triangle on services to Reading and Gatwick Airport.
