the secret of magic in Cinderella (and of creativity) : put two things together, and see what comes out! ** György Ligeti took the Hemiole from Romantic music (example Chopin) and combined it with Pygmy /Baka /Ituri music from Central Africa (many of these people are now killed because of the war for metals in our cell-phones) ** with his own kind of minimalism, he created a very new way of music, which you can see in the two "piano études" ** finally, I close with two examples of minimalism by Steve Reich, and one very nice example of a very minimal dance which is very funny, by the great Trisha Brown - Enjoy ^^
