This is one of my favorite video series. Carl Sagan explores some of the major discoveries of science, focusing on astronomy but not limiting himself to astronomy alone. Sagan advocates free inquiry and skepticism. Some of the material is dated, and much of it is Sagan's opinion rather than scientific consensus, but this series is definitely worth watching.
