Protest Toyota suing California to stop AB1493

Toyota joined a lawsuit in Fresno District Court that seeks to block implementation of AB1493. AB1493 proposes to reduce GreenHouseGas ("GHG") emissions from cars 30% by 2016. This is not a lot, not even enough, and certainly less than we could do if we were in emergency mode. AB1493 was passed by we, the people, the California legislature, signed by the Governor, and chaptered into the law of the state of California. The people want to clean the air. What gives Toyota the right to sue us, to stop us from cleaning up our air?
