Thanks a bunch for posting those old interviews. All the people who say they're fake have been fooled so many times that they're not willing to believe anything anymore. Plus, they probably view Cliff Burton as some kind of untouchable god (time tends to do that to dead rock legends), when he was really a down to earth guy. In fact, he seemed to be completely anti-rockstar.

Fuck the haters! I happen to know that half the people the person you say is Cliff listed as influences Cliff was actualy influenced by (Butler, Lee, Roth, Iommi, Clarke.) It sounded enough like Cliff to convince me (The voice was a little weird, but then Cliff was probably drunk.) Was it actually in Cortland? If it was, that's right near where I live, and it's where Ronnie James Dio. I can see plenty of evidence to convince me. RIP Cliff :(
