	martinkun167 (1 week ago) Deadkiller142, I don't think it really matters that the Quran can be peaceful and somehow "compatible" with modern western society; and I don't think his opinion would change much if he is to read the whole thing, as you seem to recommend. The point is that, just like any other religion, Islam is inevitably and unavoidably used as a tool for power. Islam advocates a utopia, just like Christianity, or Judaism, which can never be achieved; yet there are those who think that violence and coercion toward such a goal is a good idea -- this is no different from what happened in the USSR, or Nazi Germany, or Cambodia.
