Moonkin DPS on Prince Taldaram, the second boss of Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom.

This fight has a really nice mechanic where the boss periodically incapacitates one member of the party by casting Embrace of the Vampyr on them.

You can see the spell effect clearly the thrid time he goes into this phase (around 1:02) since he picked me and I was able to get a camera angle on it.

Overall, a very interesting boss but I wish more was done with this unique vampire effect. Perhaps a bigger heal for him, or a summoned add rather than a simple temporary incapacitate.

You can see that healing wasn't a burdon on the target, and even when I was down (~40% of the groups dps) he was still loosing health at a rapid rate.

Another dynamic encounter in the WotLK content.

During this fight the boss periodically levitates away and one of his previously non-combat minions moves in towards the center.

The minion must be killed before he reaches the center. Once the minion is killed the boss will return to the fight.
