Is there a way I can get a schoolarship with you? I am currently residing in Mexico, I am an artist on several disciplines such as digital design, music, amateur director, actor, makeup artist and screen writer, sculptor, graphic designer, web designer and several others I can't remember right now. I work usually with negative budgets cause many times I can't even afford a zero budget.
I want to move to america or canada to fullfill my dream (since in Mexico there isn't many schools or jobs on this kind of stuff)
In the Acting for Film & Television program at VFS you will learn audition techniques that will make you feel ready to walk into any casting room and blow them away. You will understand the importance of branding yourself as an actor while maintaining and nurturing your artistic abilities. From headshots to preparing your resume, cover letter, and demo reel, the VFS Acting program makes sure that you graduate ready to hit the ground running!
We also run Summer Intensives annually, which gives you the chance to experience VFS and our 13 entertainment arts programs for a week here in Vancouver.
We primarily teach Maya and/or XSI, along with Zbrush, Renderman, and others, depending on what a student needs to accomplish. Although we don't really "teach software". We teach core skills and how to use software as a tool. We have facilities open 24/7 for our students to make the most of their time here. At the Animation campus, you will have access to all the programs and equipment needed to complete your studies.
do the students have to buy the programs and other equipment (camcorder etc) by their own or does the school pay?
1. I saw on your hp that a partnership of vfs is autodesk. do you use maya or 3ds max, or both of them?
2. is it a must , add a video to the application?
ps: vfs is the greatest film school i´ve ever seen... in a few years after my year in usa (for learning english)
