Dear All,
Hi! I'm a third-year medical student and every week, I'm learning exciting and critical topics on medicine. But too often, the things I'm learning about never reach the public.

I wanted to try an experiment -- sharing health information on Youtube. My goal's to start conversations about issues that newspapers don't cover often but that may be relevant to your health and my health.

I hope this experiment works -- and if it fails, I hope someone sees these videos, says, "hmmm, these are bad videos, but I love the idea," and decides to go for it.

UPDATES: I'm in the hospital for a May sub-internship, so unfortunately, I probably won't be able to check email till June. I'm very sorry about this.

A Case of Mistaken Identity:
On a random note, I noticed that there are a few people with the screen name "USMedstudent&quo t; out there. I only use "usmedstudent&quo t; for Youtube, not for anything else. Also, my posts are not related to politics or the Arab-Israeli conflict, so please don't get me confused with someone else. Thank you!

Lastly, I wanted to point out something important: that the opinions expressed in this channel are not necessarily those of Harvard Medical School, its affiliated institutions, or Harvard University. Also, I'm just a medical student, so my posts are hopefully conversation starters, but only conversation starters -- not medical advice. If my posts intrigue you, please read more about the topic and discuss about it with your doctor. I'd be happy to send you the information in the journal articles I talk about. Best wishes!

Hello.
I think what you have done in youtube is awesome. Thanxs for all the videos.

I have read most of the books that you posted in the video, including Dr. Gawande's and the rest. They have opened my eyes to a lot of issues about medicine.

I wonder if you have any more book suggestions for me. I am a currently a pre-med student at mesa state college and I am trying to learn as much as possible about medicine before I get to med school.
I know you must be very busy. Thanks for everything.
