It should have been significantly louder than that I woulda thought. Then again it IS a narrow tunnel, I have a yoshimura that came with the bike when I bought it, and ya its a bit loud in the tunnels. :P

might need a new tire while your at it. My bike was doing the same but mostly because it was dumping fuel into a piston that wasnt running. '03 Coil recall fixed the problem though.
