I helped raise and train a rottweiler named Gary who ended up with hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia by 6 months of age. He had surgery to fix it all at 11 months. From 16 months to 2.5 years of age I would say he was in his prime.

At 3 years old,Gary was going blind and deaf, and had a sudden onset of kidney failure. He passed away in Oct 2010. Poor genetics.

I am now a devoted pet mommy to Solo, my Ragdoll cat, Coco, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Kronos, my F5 Savannah cat. Gary taught me a lesson in buying from irresponsible breeders.
