Yes I listened to a 1980 drama in Chuvash which is very Turkic accented by some of the actors. The slide in accent towards Russian is disappointing.

Yes the odd word is intelligible, but the vowel harmony and negation as someone else commented is readily recognised by a Turkic language speaker. May Chuvashian stay alive!
