Amazing DAVE! I wonder what safe pressure levels can be achieved with this essentially double barrel method? Could a 30-06/ .270 win, or even a 45-70 be shot out of this design in a similar barrel adapter configuration? If so, the sky is the limit!

Sorry Dave! I jumped the gun there, (pun intended) I asked this question in the first video series of the adapter vids and did not see a response, I did not think you guys would have acted this fast. Amazing!

Another common trick it to use the pine knot s(where the branches come out of the main tree), break off the branches on the dead tree, as where the branch meets the main tree is also full of resin.

Great video and advice from Dave and his instructors! However, all these guys would be dead if this scenario occured up here in Northern Ontario! -40 that is cold, these guy do not know what cold is! With that being said they should have gathered 10x the wood they did. And lose the big knives and...

Heya Dave, is there an danger of CO poisoning due to the stove and grease candles in this semi-confined space? A CO detector may be a good idea. Concerned for your safety, regards.

Another amazing video!
I think it's important to remember you are using a Modified choke. This is still a choke and that diameter change at the end of the barrel causes compressive forces that will break up simple wax bonded shots. Cylinder bore shotguns (choke free) would...

@houseoffire72 Pyrodex can be substituted volume-for-volume for blackpowder. Pyrodex is classified as a flammable solid for shipping purposes, not as an explosive as blackpowder is. (In actuality, blackpowder does not explode in blackpowder firearms. There is a pressure curve.
So yes it's not b...

Heya Dave great video! One thing that is not advisable in carrying the primers in a pill bottle or film cannister. The reason they are packaged seperate, or not in direct contact with the others is to prevent one from setting off all of them. Although, the chances of this occurring is rather remo...

Hey Dave, this is a really great trap! I spent some time and created one, and it works great. However, I did one modification/improvement that make the trap far more deadly. For the killing device on the trap I used a 1/4 piece of hardwood dowel with a hunting arrow broadeh...

You have zero clue! Hydrostatic shock is directly and inversely related to the velocity of the projectile. Therefore, the .270 will always produce more hydrostatic shock. The type of bullet is also a huge factor in the production of hydrostatic shock. Read and learn before you post!
