Hope her new album won't be full of slow ballads.

About half way through, when she's getting the audience to clap, her face tells the story. She's not into it, she looks disinterested, as if it's a chore. Perhaps all the touring is just tiring her out, and it has become a bit of a routine. She should take some time off to recharge her batteries.

I love Dark Moor, but I don't care what anyone says, the instrumental part is a real mess! And I can tell that in some of the phrases, the guitars are meant to be off-beat with the drumming, but in most of it it's just painful to listen to. Clearly they didn't take the time to listen back too ha...

Very "Kamelot-ish"... which I suppose is flattering for that band. Myrath have their own unique sound, which I think is just as inspired. They don't really need to try to emulate another band.

She obviously couldn't hear the band properly. No one with that amount of training would normally sing out of tune like that.

Pity their budget didn't allow a better video to go with the lyrics. Good band!

Since the music was written specifically for a movie, I think Nightwish and their management erred in releasing it prior to the movie coming out. If it had been seen and heard in its proper context, all this BS might have been avoided, but instead they have created much conjecture about their dir...

Not a Nightwish Clone. Their music was more raw sounding and the songs while heavy, also more poppy, melodious segments. Pity they only did one album.

The intro's just not fast enough!

Her voice is very nice, but her singing is so controlled, there is not a lot of light and shade. Each song is sung in the same manner, which makes it too boring for me.

This guy has the best voice in power metal.

@dieseldog00 I totally agree with you. How brilliant a full orchestra would have been and she has proven she has the voice to rise above the decibals of an orchestra. Anyway her voice deserves nothing less than such an accompanyment.

Fading away, my arse! Turenen is expanding her repertoire and branching out. Her singing is still improving and she's covering a diverse range of muscial styles. Good luck to her. Whether or not one likes her voice, or liked her voice in Nightwish, she is technically superior to most female singe...

In her early Nightwish recordings, her vibrato was faster paced. I wonder if she slowed it down on purpose, or whether it was just a natural occurence as her voice continued to develop?

Great production on the album. Heard enough now to buy it. Whether one believes or not, there are useful messages in the lyrics for everyday life. Music is awesome regardless.

Love how clear the sound of the cymbals are in the production of this album.

Tuomas's beautiful compositions, Tarja's beautiful voice. What a combination! At least they have left a wonderful legacy to enjoy, over and over.

I love the bridge in this song between 2:21 and 2:57. Typical N/w... simple but powerful and gets into your soul.

It's not just about whether Tarja can sing better than Anette. Anyone who has seen Tarja on stage can see that she is a PERFORMER, not just a singer. Her wonderful clothes, her expressive body language and interpretation of the songs. Her emotion is apparent in every song. She not only sings them...

Epic harmonies!

Initially seems out of place, but once it reaches the middle of the track, it finds it's place. Corny lyrics.

Martin has a great raw quality and power in her voice... perfect for this music! Much better than some of the other sometimes too-sweet sounding female fronts.

Interesting lyrics (if you've read them). Just their interpretation. The album is Tarot, each song is about a tarot card, this one being death! What's ridiculous?

Dark Moor... great Spanish representatives of the genre. Just found them on my search for epic bands.

Austria.. the home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. It would be disappointing if they didn't spawn a great symphonic metal band. Looks like they haven't disappointed!

Don't these guys know the raspberry jam is supposed to go on the bread? Good song though.

The guitars and keyboards sound very muffled. Is it the album production or just this song?
