I wonder if the simple act of exploring is enough interactivity to qualify as a game. I think it seems like a cool idea. If there were more concrete goals and a good narrative it might be kind of neat.

@corridorofchameleons Thanks for the info. I recently got a line 6 spider valve mk2 amp combo and I am still figuring out the best way to get certain tones. Also, I have the schecter blackjack atx 8 string so a similar guitar.

@billybob728 Thanks for the tip, that was exactly what I was talking about. I think its the alternating picking aspect that gets me. So I suppose the best way is to play it slow and work the speed up.

I think djent is better as a description of a sound type. For example, monuments is more djent then dream theater, but they both fall under the envelope of the progressive metal genre.

I really enjoyed the demo. It was mainly focused on the action and not much of the dialog. I am just hoping the full game has a great story to go along with the awesome action.

The preorder stuff does get outleveled very quick. Even the mass effect armor set will get replaced before you leave the first region.

The duncan designed HB105 are nice pickups but they are not as good as the blackouts. The difference is clearly audible in person. So no, they are not "pretty much the same" but they are still pretty good.

I a red 8 string schecter blackjack and it is a killer guitar for the price.

@patrick22014 True, but I still don't like it. Bad written music is bad regardless of genre. I would say something like ion dissonance or volumes is how this style should be done.

TB, could you figure out what the hell is happening with torchlight 2? That game basically vanished from the media after the release window went buy.

TB, can you do this experiement with kingdoms of amalaur which also has a rediculously low fov. The devs have said there is a technical reason to limit it (something to do with texture/geometry streaming). Could you do the same experiement and see if there is validity to this?

After 26 years of life, I find myself asking why? Why am I watching a video containing a British man talking about a game called "snuggletruck" during my leisure time.

I don't think that the dialog is so bad in this game. the animations for lip sync are bad but the voice acting is pretty decent imo.

TB, I dont like the idea of a WTF is being a first impressions. I think it should be an impression of the game from the point where you understand all the aspects of the game. Some games you can do that from the beginning and some you might have to play 10 hours before you understand it enough.

javier is a beast! I would love to hear more solo stuff. I also like the idea of using the 8 string to get a more mellow sound like this.
