The Echo Chamber met in one of Adelaide's hottest saunas...

Quirky. Now there's a word which surely all bands hate to be described as. So they're definitely NOT that. No WAY. Not at ALL...

A six piece. Added one at a time. From Adelaide. Guitar drums vocals bass saxophone and keyboard.

Six blokes. Six white station wagons. Six favourite bands. Six dogs. Six hairstyles. Six wives. Six beers. Six jobs to do around the house. One Echo Chamber.

An echo chamber is actually an analogue device which records an input on one head of a tape recorder and plays it back from the next head. By changing the speed of the tape you can alter the delay; you can also change the number of echoes and mix them with the original sound. It can be cool, it can be noisy, especially if the tape you're using is an eight-track which used to have Foghat on it. There you go. Not like the Echo Chamber at all really.

If you're one of those kinds of people who like to rearrange the letters in names, probably the best you'll get out of the Echo Chamber is Comb her Cheetah.

The Echo Chamber rehearse in a factory full of power tools and secretly fantasise about making a gore music video where they all lose their limbs in freakish industrial accidents.
