israel didn't take any country from the arabs, in 1947 the UN seperated the territory, that should have belonged only to the jews (even when its a part from the promised mandate for the jews by the british empire) to 2 states, jewish and arab, the jews needed an immediate homeland so they accepted the resolution, but the arab authorities, as we see through the history,will never accept a jewish state (plus they never stopped screwing the palestinians without giving shit about them), why ? they didnt want a strong democracy close to them, the muslim countries - from the same reason, encouraged them to go into a fight and let them in their terrtiroies in order to fight against israel, and simply - they dont think that the jews need to have an homeland - after all, they are jews right ?.. and there are also greedy reasons (willing to continue being able to do what ever they want in the jewish territories and homes in israel before 1947), plus arabs didnt want israel to exist because they were afraid that israel will get back at them for the pogroms and masscares they did to the jews in israel before 1947 (like 1920 riots and 1929 masscare etc. etc...) - in the end israel didnt get back at them at all, the only times that arabs died were when they attacked israel
israel is surrounded by enemy countries that want to destroy us! we always wanted to live in peace.

in 1948, the palestinians and the arab countries (7 armies) opened a war against israel - israel won
in 1956 there was a war too and israel won again
in 1967, six days war, israel won, and then israel finally, stopped playing this games and took some territories (yet letting the arabs return, although the arab countries didnt let the jews return plus took their properties)
we gave the Sinai Desert to egypt (we took it in 1956 and gave it back in 1956 in exchange for peace, and in 1967 we took it again in the war... cuz egypt are so 'peaceful') in 1980 in exchange for peace - we took it and gave it back twice. (and nowadays lovely egypt is letting the Hamas smuggle weapons to gaza)
we gave Jordan (the real palestine) 300 Square kilometres and control in parts of Jerusalem in exchange for peace, they have broke the peace agreement between us a few times but never opened a war after it, credit to Jordan lol)
