One other thing...Buddy was playing brilliantly up until his death at age 69 in 1987. Heart failure following surgery for a malignant brain tumor...no drug or alcohol crap. I would really love to see how Travis Barker is doing when he's 69, if he ever gets to that age.

Great teachers are rare these days. I had some when I grew up in the 1960s and 1970s. The public school system in the US does not foster great teachers; it only fosters teachers' union demands. When will we all actually learn?!
The main thing that made this TV series great was Aaron Sorkin's screenwriting. After he left, it fell apart.
