Regarding your lovely cat which past over. He won't be hanging around the vet for sure. Like people when they pass over if they are attached to their lovedones or family they will be back in their home or near it. In anycase, it won't be toon long before you see your pet in a dream and it will feel so real. That is one way they can return and show themselves. SOme dreams are just dreams I know - but then there are others where a spirit makes an entrance and it goes on from there. Time is different there. Take out your digital camera (at night of course is best) to the spot where she/he used to sit and see what you some up with. ANy orbs? If not, the spot where your pet was sleeeping in your home before. I am sure you know what orbs are.
