It's closer to 40. It's from 1974, the year Roscoe Orman started playing Gordon.

They're not great musicians (OK, Ace is decent). They're not great singers. Most of their songs are simplistic. They're ugly as sin. And yet they're one of the most awesome rock bands of all time putting out some of the catchiest anthems ever. If you add everything up, you should hate them. And y...

@txkid123 How about Don Henley from the Eagles? Equally great band and vocalist, although Phil is definitely the better drummer. And how about Ringo? He sang plenty of songs. And although I don't know if she ever played the drums while singing, Karen Carpenter was a drummer.

Funny video. My parents owned an '84 Town Car. They loved all those battleship sized American sedans. I actually drove the car many times, but in hindsight, I don't know how I did it. The thing was the size of a small house, and drove like one. The best thing about the car was knowing that if you...

What a great song. I didn't realize this song was from Third Stage, released in 1986. I thought it was one of their 70s songs. Boston was the only band that could release an album in 1986 and make it sound like it could've been released in 1976.

How a band could become so iconic and have so man...

BTW, this thought just popped into my head: Can you imagine the entire cast and crew involved in this in hysterics, while Morgan Freeman is offstage screaming in his deep voice, "Why on earth are you all encouraging these juvenile shenanigans?"

@10Dec1971 His name is Jim Boyd. He really didn't achieve a lot of fame outside of the Electric Company, which is a shame. He was (is?) a supremely talented man. I call him the Captain of the Electric Company Cast. His performance in this skit alone was enough to earn him that title.

I was a bit familiar with the acoustic version, but I never heard the original until yesterday, when they played it on 60s on 6 on XM Radio. What an epic song. Blows the acoustic version, which is itself great, out of the water. This is a masterpiece.

Wow, they must've really blown the animation budget through the roof for this one. These Can Can girls look great, unlike the really cheapo looking ones from the 70s and 80s Can Can commercials. I really like this commercial.

If A&P was smart, they'd hire James Karen back as a spokesperson. Quick.

I remember these commercials. I'm dying to know who did the voice of Geoffrey in many of these 70s commericals. It does sound a lot like Thurl Ravenscroft, but I'm pretty sure it's not him. Does anyone know for sure? Please solve this mystery!
