The video and audio are sped up to make it seem faster. This guy is quick, but not as quick as he seems. Watch the cymbals when he's doing his fast rolls and paradiddle stuff. No one moves the weird with out being sped up.

Chad Smith: No imagination and the same playing style no matter what he plays. The drum set in this video is the only thing unique Chad Smith has come up. Anyone could play his style. He actually loses time at 2:44, what good, consistent drummer does that? No good studio drummers would lose time

@DRUMMERMARK100 ok, my bad. Regardless, you can listen to any RHCP CD and it's the same grooves from Chad on every song, he isn't creative at all.
