he fourpiece Ground Zero System rose from the ashes of two local bands in the fall/winter of 2004, and has with their self financed EP "Newropa EP" quickly become one of Kristiansands most influential metal bands. Recorded in the well respected DUB studio (Trail Of Tears, Blood Red Throne, Green Carnation) with producer Endre Kirkesola at the helm the result is a massive sonic bombardment that assaults the senses from start to finish.
The band is comprised of experienced musicians with long merit lists both on stage and in the studio (Apostasy, Blood Red Throne, In Minor, Opus Forgotten).
To put it blunt Ground Zero System performs creative, urban, modern and direct industrial influenced metal that can be compared to no other bands in the Norwegian metal scene.
The cold and sterile sound of synthetic landscapes and samples is masterfully combined with organic riffbased grooves resulting in a sound that is both fresh and commercially marketable.
