hmm... it's too bad the smoke and ground decals don't linger longer. 2 seconds after the animation finishes, the battlefield looks like like nothing ever happened there. it's little details like this that keep the game from being as cinematic as it could possibly be.

fyi, for some reason this game isn't so good at rendering shadows. based on what i see here, you could have had better graphics and a higher framerate if you enabled high res textures using fullresteamcolor=1 and disabled shadows entirely.

ooh, if only this attack could be switched with the stalker's, and likewise!

one of my favorite moments from sc1 is watching the dragoon's balls of plasma death fly unerringly into the enemy, causing massive damage and gibbing. unfortunately, the stalker just doesn't pack the same oomph.

imo, the minigun needs to have a sharper sound, all black smoke ought to be exchanged for translucent grey or white smoke -or be absent entirely-, rocket impacts should be clearly visible through the smoke and pellet impacts ought to spark.
