Does it matter if you line up the arrow with your mark? It seems like you should be able to line up any of the points on the bender (arrow, tier drop, star point) with your drawn mark as long as you use the same point for both bends. Is that true?

@FakePlasticShrimp It's not typically legal to carry a gun while hunting during archery season, so carry that shotgun would be a bad idea. Most black bears without cubs will just run away if you make some noise anyway.

A guy who has never carried a gun before can't keep his hand off it? I'm shocked! And then with goggles and too-big mechanics gloves, he can't draw his gun and fire when a well trained person comes straight for him? But he had a whole DAY of training.

And you view that as a good thing? Education isn't some bad thing that you have to put up with to get to where you want to be. Knowing what you're doing is a good thing. Not to mention that there are plenty of programs that provide both an apprenticeship and classroom time.
