@ 28zebra I'm right behind ya, been here for 56 years. There'll never be another band better than ABB for me. Saw them at A Warehouse in New Orleans, September 1971, 2 months before Duane's accident. I was with a beautiful girl that night but I barely noticed her, so focused on the band.

Hate to disagree but Boz' voice is NOT getting better with age. Notice how he doesn't even try to hit the high notes. Also, Derek is great, I love him, but he still ain't Duane, and I saw Duane play. Derek is better technically bit Duane had more soul in his playing.

God, so many concerts at A Warehouse from 1970-76 for me. Saw The Allman Bros. when Duane & Berry were still alive, Humble Pie and Wishbone Ash many times, ZZ Top several times too, including the live half of Fandango, so many others. A great place....wish something like it was still around.
