Dear Friends:

In early December, from the counter of Sellers Hardware, where I got my start in business, I declared myself a candidate for the Republican nomination for Congress.

America has lost faith and trust in Congress. I firmly believe nothing can be done; no positive change can be made until we restore trust in those we have chosen to lead.

We need a Congressman who wont say one thing while in Iowa and then vote another way in Washington. We need a Congressman who will say NO to unbalanced budgets, NO to runaway spending, NO to tax increases, and NO to irresponsible quick fix bailouts.

I will take the principles of fiscal responsibility, balanced budgets, and lower taxes that Ive supported as a small business owner, mayor and state senator with me to Washington.

If you believe in the same vision I do; a streamlined government, a return to fiscal responsibility and the urgent need to restore trust in those elected to serve, then I ask for you to join me in this campaign.
