i dont think its a terrible fold to be frank. barry over-repped his hand and too many people go broke with one pair in NLHE.

@ClassicReggaeton there are 12 bad river cards for patricks hand so a quarter of the time hes going to be guessing even if he had the best hand on the flop. consider durrrr had KQsuited. This is the perfect move. What if durrrr has JJ or AA or AK or AQ?

personally i love ppl who 3bet me with 52o when i raise preflop with aces.

@EverstillGhost its not as fun when its your own money, has happened to me 3 times before when i was all in.

@KevinDorner tom doesnt know but he decides when he check raises that hes calling. its not because his hand is super strong but because hes planned it.

i think david Benyamine put daniel on AA and doyle on J10. He only realised he was beat when daniel was thinking about it.

@seago101 not necessarily, dan 3bet gus pre so gus could be c/r the flop just to figure out if hes ahead with 7-5 or 8-5. i think dan didn't wanna fold cause he didnt wanna fold a full house. he can beat 65 and 85 but is losing to 99 55 and 88. a call seems mathematically correct.

@MegaTriumph1 Barry actually doesn't think he played the hand well. He said thats what i figured you had i guess i should have taken a card off. what he means is he should call once, if the spade comes fold, if the queen comes think about folding and bet almost the pot on any other turn.

i dont agree 100% with the list but noone here is completely out of place. stu ungar was incredible at his time and would quickly adapt to the modern game.

@Be4TinGyoU this is not an example of bad poker. agree phil is outclassed in this lineup but he didn't play any of his hands particularly badly. the ace jack was his worst played hand. you should see the hand that he got felted on - k9h(ivey) vs j5h (hellmuth) on 7h6s4h kc.

@ad3llq101 there is no value in betting the river. there are only 4 hands that eli could be holding: a full house, 3 queens, a medium pair and a missed flush draw. eli will bet the first 2, probably wont call with the 3rd and wont call with the 4th unless he hit the jack on the river. checking is...

@kw980904 antonius would usually 3bet preflop on the button with AQ because stacks are deep, he is in position and phil is raising from the cutoff with a wide range of hands.

in high stakes poker it is legal to show your cards. also daniel definately would not purposefully show a card that limits the strength of his hand when hes going to bluff.
