If your asian and your parents do the following...

Want you to get straight A+ in all your AP classes

Want you to get accepted into all Ivy League schools

Want you to play the piano or violin like a professional at age 5

Doesn't give a crap about sports or clubs

Doesn't care about your athleticism unless being more athletic helps you read faster and score higher on SATs

Doesn't care about how fast you can run a mile, only cares about how fast you can finish high school and college by means of skipping grades

Rather have you get SAT and PSAT books for christmas and birthday presents than toys and video games

Want you to get a pefect score on SAT and PSAT

Want you to become like all other asian kids they know that got into Harvard or Yale

Want you to go to med school and become a brain surgeon

Talk about how hard they studied just to get into the US and yell at you for slacking off

Give you an impossible asian name that no teacher in the US can pronounce and starts with Q, X, Y or Z

If you're an asian male and you were born in the US, your name is most likely Kevin (works 97% of the time)

Give you an impossible asian name that no teacher in the US can pronounce because it contains 3 or more consanants in a row or 3 or more vowels in a row

Do the asian piece sign and smile big for every photo they take

Play many hours of cards or mahjong on Friday and Saturday nights

Have asian parties with a bunch of random asians in the area

Made you go to Chinese School (for those that are chinese, I'm not sure if there is a korean, japanese or indian school) when you were younger

Drink tea instead of coffee

Eats rice, noodles, kimchi, seafood or curry for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Use chopsticks instead of spoons or forks

Watch asian TV series at home in the US

Doesn't get sarcasm

Is against all types of relationships with the opposite sex

Doesn't mind you holding hands with the same sex

Make you take SAT classes till you get that 2400

Doesn't want you to marry other races when you grow up (I know it sounds racist but it's mostly true)


If your parents does any of the above then they are like all asian parents.
