After he left the group he decide to concentrate on working on singing and songwriting. Zack eventually met drummer Dalton Piveronas and decided to form their own band in February 2011 and called it "The Left Turns". The group later brought in bass guitar and another guitarist. It was a four piece band indie rock band. The band played many popular venues such as Altar Bar, Fort Ligonier Days, Garfield Artworks, and the Brookline Breeze Festival. The group also won a battle of the bands in Pittsburgh out of a total of eight bands. Zack Keim left the band in October 2011 because of creative differences. He decided to go solo and create his own music to share with the public. Zack Keim hopes to accomplish being a full-time musician and becoming a popular alternative musician.
