Those look like nice panels brother. I am going to have to search Ebay again. I bought the Harbor Freight kit initially, now I'm rethinking my plan. I just got my 2500W inverter, and I already have a good battery charge controller. I'm waiting on the batteries until the whole system is ready....

Nice vide brother. I'm about to tackle the same process on a 99 Cherokee Sport. I'll be putting in a used engine (I can't afford a refurb block/head). Hopefully I can rescue the engine I pull and use it in my 51 Willys-Overland wagon.

Coat the cotton balls with some vaseline. It makes a GREAT fire starter! Put a bunch of the prepared cotton balls in a zip-loc bag or small container.

Thanks for the hands-on demo about the wire gauge! I'm planning my system now and probably found the same 'recommended' wire gauge charts for DC wiring vs distance. Your 60' example is a greater length than mine will have to be but I think I'll stick to 10 gauge.

I agree, this is NOT a flush of the system. The radiator can become a battery if the coolant gets too old or nasty. I'm glad I do my own car repairs and that I'm not paying this knuckle head to "flush" my radiator.
