@EcOwl yes, I've been in a few orchestra's where recorders were used (on a professional level) and they're simplicity makes it easy to play (therefore they give it to elementary school kids) but the delicacy it requires is very difficult... So if mastered it makes it a beautiful instrument.

He is one scary looking conductor... It feels like he would eat your face if you mess up!
