you missuderstand the idea to eliminate markets - it has nothing todo with the elimination of interactions of people - just the elimination of scarcity - do we have a market for the air we breath? no, why? its abundant. does sharing the air eliminate peoples interations with each other? no. if friedman argued that hed be wrong - theier were many factors - repeal of glass stegal - non regulated cds and derivatives and out right fraud of rating cdo's as aaa...
