Filmed from the checkerboard used for the approach into Kai Tak. Overshoots and then lines it up just to get caught in the wind...again. Unedited. ...
the Old Kai Tak airport was just a few hundred meters from the residental area of Kowloon City, and planes had to fly very low over those buildings before they landed. It was kind of lucky that there had been no seriously air crash during the years Kai Tak Airport was in service.
