@therealjosephoseph Fridays was on in the early 80's. Garry Shandlin's show wasn't on until the mid 80's - long after Fridays was off the air.

I had this washer-type (Kenmore). Most of the top portion of the agitator (with the spiral) was too high in the tub to do much moving of the clothes even with a high-water setting. The action is from the agitator panes below. That is what moves the clothes around so vigorously.

This was the debut (pilot) of the show from April in 1980. The show did not use guest hosts in the first season. Is there ANY chance you have the entire episode you can upload (even in bits and pieces)? This is arguably one of the very best episodes of this short series. Thanks!

I think this music was used years ago for a Pacific Bell commercial. I believe Susan Sarandon narrated and this ad showed different places and people of California. The tag line was something like - "today was a good day in California, tomorrow will be better." They were neat commercials.

The quality of this video is great. How did you get it to preserve so well all these years - I assume it is from VHS or Beta tape. Fridays had the potential to be a juggernaut but was done in by lazy and juvenile writing. They had the best bands though.

On one side you have classic OLTL - Viki, Clint, Bo, Nora, Todd, Blair - and then on the other side you have the shit - all the teens. How is it the writers can screw up an episode this bad when you have the best characters still on screen?

Man that actor playing Jack Manning is awful. He's so stiff and robotic in his delivery - it really ruins an otherwise compelling and interesting story. On the flip side, for once the actor playing Rex had a decent moment of actual acting.

God this was classic OLTL. The story, the acting, the lighting and that awesome background music. So fun. Thanks for posting.

Please upload the episode where Jodie first meets his baby daughter (I think Carol's mother brings her to his apartment). The original scene is so incredibly sweet and the reaction of the studio audience to the baby grabbing Jodie's nose is funny.

This looks and works better than the real thing.

A2 is a Brunswick made machine. These appear to be AMF 82-70 machines.
