About Me:
 
Youth In Praise is a multi-talented Christian performance group (Ages 8 to 16). Through music, praise step, dance, mime, etc....Youth in Praise has showcased talented youth from the Washington Metropolitan Area as a means of ministering to other youth (especially those who don't normally attend church) We have a unique and effective program to reach today's youth. Members use their gifts of performing to minister at schools, nursing homes, homeless shelters, shopping malls, churches, community centers, parks, hospitals, police and government sponsored events, etc. Youth In Praise members are recipients of various competitions and awards. They have been sought after by play writers, recording executives, Black Entertainment Television (BET), Producer/Dancer/Actor Debbie Allen, Comcast, and Broadway. Members have showcased with Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, Shirley Caesar, CeCe Winans, and Richard Smallwood; some were featured in the media to include: CBS Eyewitness News, The Washington Post, and The Washington Times to name a few. In 2003 Youth In Praise was chosen as one of "The Best of Maryland" by Six Flags of America. "Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord". - Psalm 150 --
