In the USA, Youth for Christ (YFC) is reaching 650,000 young people in relationships, one life at a time. Support our movement and be part of the 1,600 staff and thousands of volunteers bringing the hope of Jesus to young people across the country. http://www.yfc.org
Since 1944, Youth for Christ has had a distinctive history of youth evangelism. In the early 1940s, during World War II, many young men, mostly ministers and evangelists, were holding large rallies in Canada, England and the United States. YFC quickly organized into a national movement. Billy Graham became YFC's first full-time staff member.
With nearly 2,000 local ministry sites in the USA, you'll find that each is uniquely tailored to reach youth in urban, suburban, and rural settings. Throughout YFC's history there has been an unwavering commitment to youth evangelism and biblical Christianity. YFC strives to both demonstrate and communicate this message of hope, grace and love in a variety of different cultural settings.
