If you think like our ancestor, that we are the center of the universe, it's ok, we are not. I believe in God, but he wouldn't talk with his mouth, he wouldn't order to build a gate to protect Israel. Our ancestors see them as god with divine power, because they can fly. With the lack of technology, they couldn't understand or grasp how they could decent from the sky to the earth, without winds like a bird. There is many different religion with many gods, not only one. It is always the same story, they came from the sky to the earth. The winds on angels, for example, are only a way to explain something important they couldn't explain otherwise: they can fly. In my opinion, people consciousness growing and we can't accept anymore the old pattern, the old way to look at this, like you do.
